2026 Polar Bear Safety Refresh

This course if for students and staff that needs to refresh their rifle course (every 6 months). Participants must previously have completed the full day UNIS rifle course.

General information:

  • Starting time: 08:30
  • Duration: 2h
  • Location: Meet in Reception

The instructor will meet participants in the UNIS reception and travel together to the shooting range by car or buss.

 What to bring: Warm clothing, Suitable gloves

Objectives:

  • Repeat routines for safe rifle handling
  • Repeat Half loading procedure
  • Shooting minimum 12 rounds

After the lesson, the students/staff shall:?

  • Handle the rifle in a safe manner
  • Know the half loading procedure
  • Hit 4 rounds within a 40cm target
